Automat Geisha

Game overview

Geisha is a classic Aristocrat game with an Edo period Japanese look. The reels feature traditional imagery such as dragons, flowers, fans, birds and mountains, with calm music in the background. It has been around for many years and has a straightforward set of rules.

The game uses five reels, three rows and 25 paylines.

Rules and how wins are paid

Line wins pay from left to right on the active lines. The Geisha wild substitutes for the regular symbols, and the Torii gate scatter pays in any position.

Symbols

The picture symbols include a dragon, a flower, a fan, a bird and a mountain, with card ranks from 9 to Ace as lower pays. The Geisha is the wild and the Torii gate is the scatter.

Special features

Stacked Geisha wild

The Geisha wild can land stacked, covering more of a reel. In the base game, any win that includes a Geisha wild is doubled.

Free spins

Three or more Torii gates award 15 free spins. All wins during the round are multiplied by 3. Because the wild still doubles the wins it is part of, a win that includes a Geisha during the bonus is multiplied by 6 in total. Landing three or more scatters again during the feature awards more spins.

Bet settings and RTP

Stake ranges depend on the version. RTP figures for Geisha differ between sources, so check the figure shown in your game. Different versions of this game exist, and casinos may run a lower RTP setting, so check the help screen before you play.

How to play, step by step

1. Choose your stake and lines.
2. Spin and look for line wins from the left.
3. Watch for stacked Geisha wilds, which double wins.

Tips before you play

• The feature is the main source of large wins, so the base game can feel slow.
• Older games like this can have lower RTP settings than modern releases.
• Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and stop when you reach either one.
